Hotel Room Reservations

IEEE has set aside a limited block of rooms for attendees at the significantly reduced rate of $159.00 + 18% (10% service charge and 8% taxes) per room per night. This rate may be extended before or after the workshop for up to 3 days, subject to availability. The rooms are on the basis of the Run of House category. Upon check-in, according to availability at the moment, the room will have either a garden view, an island/ocean view, or a pool/ocean view.

To reserve a room at the Aruba Marriott Resort, participants can book on-line or call either the Marriott Reservation line at 800-223-6388 or directly to the property at +297-520-6342. The resort recommends that registrants call between 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.

To make your hotel reservation on-line, click HERE.

  • Please note that when calling in or booking on-line, the 10% service charge has been included in the rate.
  • When booking on-line, the system automatically suggests the Quality Room, which is described as a Garden View room. You are, in fact, booking a Run of House category room, which could be an island or an ocean view room.
  • The link above automatically enters the IEEE group code. Please use the following code, when entering information manually - SPSSPSA.
  • For pre/post stays longer than 3 days, or for information on upgrading your room, please call the property reservations office directly at +297-520-6342.
  • A maximum of 4 guests per room is allowed.
  • You can modify/cancel your reservation by entering your confirmation number HERE.
  • If cancellation occurs after November 13, 2006, a one-night room and tax penalty will be charged to your credit card. Travel Insurance is available for a fee HERE.
  • Room preferences such as king/double, smoking/non-smoking, high/low floor are not guaranteed. That does not mean it is not available, in contrast to what booking on-line might say. The resort will do its best to accommodate all preferences upon check-in.
  • After November 13, the resort can not guarantee availability or the special IEEE group rate.
  • Baby Sitting service is available for a fee.
